Hello Andrea! I am so glad you are still blogging, I only discovered your blog last week, and spent most of Sunday afternoon reading it. Although happy in Oz (Perth), I get a longing for my aunt's market in the 17eme and pains au chocolat....
Our pain au chocolat prize goes to: Pere Boulange, Place Pie, Avignon, and their Maxi Pain! Since my Dad passed away in 2002, 7 trips... but more spaced now, next trip planned for 2009. Here, I only get to speak French on the phone to my Aunt,or my brother, who now lives in Greece.

Well I'm flattered that you would take the time to dig into my archives!
I read you bio and it sounds like you've had quite an adventurous life, living in different countries, and now you are in little Perth, my home town.
I have to say, the best pain au chocolat I ever had was in Madrid. I'm thinking of going back just to sample another one!
So do you ever come to France? Do you get the chance to speak much French?
